Lifetime is no stranger to headline-grabbing films, but has anyone looked as frightening as Chris Watts: Confessions of a Killer? E! News offers an exclusive glimpse of the brand new trailer for the upcoming film, based on the murders and confessions that shook the country.
The trailer above shows the veterans of Odd Mom Out Sean Kleier as Chris Watts underwent a lie detector test survey of his wife's whereabouts Shanann Watts (How I met your mother's Ashley Williams ) and if he ever lost control of his family when scenes of abuse flashed on the screen. It's a cool trailer that sets the stage for Chris Watts: Confessions of a Killer. Brooke Smith plays CBI agent Tammy Lee who has been instrumental in bringing Watts to justice.

The audience first met Watts when he tearfully stood up on television cameras for the safe return of his pregnant wife and her two daughters. As the story spread, Watts was the center of attention as a troubled husband and father. But everything changed when he failed a lie detector test and confessed to the murders and finally revealed the details.

Chris Watts: A Killer's Confessions premieres on Saturday, January 25th at 8pm. for lifetime. As part of the network's "Stop Violence Against Women" campaign, a PSA with resources on domestic abuse, emergency numbers and other valuable information will be released after the film.
