Rihanna Honors Mama Cax On Social Media – ‘Relaxation In Energy Sis’


After the devastating news became known that the model and activist Mama Cax had passed away at the age of 30, Rihanna went to Instagram to honor her friend and share her grief with her 77 million followers.

"A Queen. A force. A powerful beauty who brought her power to the @ savagexfenty stage this year and inspired so many people around the world. Rest In Power sis ✊🏿😢 @mamacax, ”wrote Rihanna in the title of a photo she had posted from Mama Cax.

The model – real name Cacsmy Brutus – died on December 16 after spending a week in the hospital. Her family shared the heartbreaking message "with deep regret and great sadness" on the model's Instagram page, saying that she had continued to fight until her last breath.

You wrote that calling Cax a fighter is an understatement. And as a cancer survivor, she has got used to accepting life's challenges directly and successfully. Her family said she knew Cax's death was felt globally and was not easy, but she asked her fans to respect the model's privacy. They also said they would share the model's funeral arrangements once they were completed.

Rihanna was not the only celebrity that Mama Cax honored on social media. Model Iskra Lawrence wrote that there were no words to express how grateful she was for Cax's existence and that the world was blessed with her determination, wisdom and love.

Lawrence said it was an honor to know Mama Cax and that she would always keep memories of her friendship.

Sports Illustrated model Nina Agdal called Mama Cax & # 39; s death news "devastating" and sent her family love and prayers.

Acress Jameela Jamil described Cax as "the most extraordinary role model" who survived, modeled, amputated and activated cancer. Jamil also said that the underfunded NHS sent Cax home twice ahead of time and that she died in her hotel room.

"It happens so often in Britain, especially young black women," Jamil wrote on Twitter.

Mama Cax used a prosthetic leg and went to the first fashion show in the White House in 2016. She was not only a beautiful model, but also an advocate of inclusiveness in the fashion industry.
