"There is still a shortage of health workers in communities around the world, with a pregnant woman or newborn dying every 11 seconds, mainly from preventable reasons. Since COVID-19, many more newborns are at risk from greater lack of access to water , Soap, vaccines and medicines that prevent diseases. As parents of a newborn, this breaks our hearts because we empathize with the difficult parents more than ever. "
In "Celebrating the Heart We Know Our Daughter Already Has" Katy and Orlando set up a UNICEF fundraising page on behalf of Baby Daisy – or "DDB" as they called her.
