Just call Kanye Santa because he delivered a gift! The rapper dropped "Jesus Is Born" on Christmas Day with his Sunday service choir!
On Jesus' birthday Kanye West dropped his latest gospel album, Jesus Is Born, with his Sunday service choir. Fans were thrilled to see Ye sticking to his word when he announced in October that he had another album on the way. The surprise drop was announced on Kanye's Twitter when he shared the streaming link from a New Jersey-based indie distributor Vydia with others and chose them instead of a major label release. The fans filled with 19 gospel titles reacted quickly to the album, which appeared on all major streaming platforms just in time for Christmas.
"So far this has been a beautiful album, the last one was in the middle," tweeted a fan. " man kanye Jesus is actually born, it is a Christmas miracle", joked another, referring to the rapper who notoriously postponed the release of his October album "Jesus Is King". "To be honest, if you love acoustic choir material, it won't get much better than this," said one user, while another added, "What a nice Christmas for God's people on Christmas Day! Thank you very much Kanye I love you brother! " Some fans were angry that Kanye was not the star of the album and that it was more of his choir. The titles include" Count Your Blessings "," How the Lord Works "and" Satan, we will tear down your kingdom ", all of which show the incredible talents of the choir that Kanye has built. This is Sunday Service's first official album.
Kanye and his choir toured the country with their electrifying performances, most recently as an icon at Lincoln Center. He brought his "original opera" Mary to the New York theater, and everyone from TV personality Gayle King to comedian Michelle Wolf to fashion designer Dapper Dan came out to support him.
