John Lewis Recognized With Stage four Pancreatic Most cancers


John Lewis, a Civil Rights activist Icon & Democratic Rep. Announced that he was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer on Sunday evening.

“I have fought for freedom, equality and basic human rights for most of my life. I've never seen a fight like the one I have now, ”said the 79-year-old in a statement released by CNN.

In subsequent tests, the doctors discovered stage IV pancreatic cancer. This diagnosis was confirmed again, ”he said.

"Although the prognosis is clear to me, the doctors have told me that recent medical advances have made this type of cancer treatable in many cases and treatment options exist. It is not as debilitating as it used to be and me have a chance to fight, ”he continued.
