Women support women.
In this clip from a brand new episode of Quibis Close Up by E! News, JoJo shared her support for Megan Thee Stallion after rap star Tory Lanez accused of shooting her. As the "Man" artist explained to co-presenters Will Marfuggi and Courtney Tezeno she took Lanez off the deluxe version of her album to support the "WAP" rapper to demonstrate.
"As soon as the allegations became known, I started talking to my team," said JoJo. "I cannot support this person, I have to distance myself."
On this point, the 29-year-old singer said it was important "to believe women".
"I had the feeling that we women had to believe for a long time," she continued. "Why should she lie about it?"
In order not to dance around the topic, JoJo made it clear that she stands by Megan Thee Stallion's side and supports her.
"I say I believe Megan Thee Stallion", the artist concluded "Leave (Get Out)". "That was my attitude and it just felt right to remove him from the deluxe version of the album."
