With the release of the last movie in the current Star Wars trilogy later this month, it's not surprising that many companies jump aboard the marketing tape in which it a variety of stars are war-related goods are brought to market. The company has recently phased out the Star Wars edition of its QuietComfort 35 II headphones. These are still the QuietComfort 35 II headphones that many know and love, with the exception that they are now available in a limited color, with one side black and the other red.
"Inspired by the colors and design of the dark side, half of these special headphones are dipped in black and adorned with bright red Sith lettering. The other side is painted red with black patterns and details that the followers of the Empire and the First Order will immediately recognize. "
In addition to launching a special edition of headphones, Bose announced its launch with the Star Wars app, offering users an audio experience with augmented reality. The company writes, "Once a scene is selected, users are placed in the middle of the action. Bose has worked with sound designers and software developers to provide 360-degree audio for every scene. When paired with sensors embedded in Bose AR-enabled products that capture the user's body orientation and movement, they have an immediate experience as if they were right where the figures are. "
This will be compatible with devices such as the new Bose 700 headphones, QuietComfort 35 II and the Bose frames.
